All Season Burlap Wreath

All Season Burlap Wreath

Last week I posted about French Inspired decor, this week it’s a Burlap Wreath that can change with the seasons. I can’t claim the originality of the post, as I found it on Pinterest, but you know me, I always put my twist on it to make it my own.

Dani and I had fun with it. She supplied the wire hangers, and I provided the burlap, and fall decor. It was great to sort through the all fall decor and pick out what I wanted. And the little gem in the picture above, that was my final project. Cute, right? I’d love to say it’s hanging on my door right now, but it’s made its way to Colorado to hang on my sister’s front door in her new home.

As you can see, the supplies needed for this wreath were minimal. A wire hanger and some burlap. I also found some ribbon on clearance at Walmart for $0.25, but I decided to not use it after all…okay, truth be told I really suck at making ribbons, and after multiple tries I gave up. I used to be able to make them, but I think I’d forgotten since it had been years since I last attempted. Oh well, you win some you lose some.

I also didn’t glue my decorations on, I pinned them because I wanted to be able to change it out for the seasons.

If you’d like to attempt to make one of your own, you can find the pin here. She offers a video tutorial, which might be helpful if you’re more of a visual person. Or for more ideas, do a search on Pinterest for Burlap Wreaths, you’ll get ton’s of ideas on how to change it up for the seasons, or better yet, how to customize one as a gift!

Happy wreathing!
